🚀 Getting started

1. Create your hero. Pick one of six professions: it gives +25% XP in its skill and a starter kit. Your look is locked once you start (Madame Vela can change it later).
2. Follow the Journey box on the left: it walks you through farming, fishing, the ranch, hunting, mining and crafting, with a reward for each step.
3. Earn shards by selling to Mira, finishing Daily Bounties and Guild Contracts, and keeping your Proof-of-Play node mining while you play.
4. Link your LBTC wallet (Menu → Wallet) so your shards are the same as your website and arcade shards, and so NFTs you find are minted to you.
5. Play together: press Enter to chat, click a player to trade, duel, inspect or team up, and found or join a guild.

💡 On phones everything is on screen: joystick, ⤒ jump, 📍 ping, use and interact buttons. Tap an item to see its full stats. ☰ → ✏️ Edit HUD moves or hides the minimap, hotbar and chat.

🌟 Professions & skills

Every profession is a main skill with six sub-skills that only grow when you do that activity (Entropia-style). Since 2.17 skill points come slower the higher you are, so level 100 is a long road; nobody lost a level.

💡 Time away fills your Rested pool, which doubles skill points until it runs out. The Codex and Arcade Rush add permanent and temporary XP bonuses.

🌾 Farming

Till with a hoe, plant, water and harvest. Crops keep growing while you're offline. Watering makes them grow 1.7× faster and fertilizer 1.5× faster. Longer crops pay more XP.

🎣 Fishing

Cast into a lake, a river or the Genesis Sea. Strike when the bobber dips (the ❗ appears), then keep the fish inside your green zone until the bar fills. Ripples, better rods and bait, rain and night all help. XP only comes from a fish you land.

🏹 How to hunt

Find your prey. Animals roam every region: green and tan dots on the minimap are animals, red ones attack on sight. Peaceful animals flee when you get close, so approach slowly or shoot from range.

Shoot. Hold the mouse to draw your bow (the longer, the stronger and faster the arrow) and release to fire. Arrows fly in a real arc. Swords, axes, maces and staffs hit in melee or with seeking bolts.

Range by rarity. Bows and staffs reach farther the rarer they are; past its range an arrow loses its push and drops.

Loot swings. Every kill is one loot package: often small, sometimes nothing, and now and then a Global or a Hall of Fame find that the whole server sees.

⛏️ Mining

Strike rocks with a pickaxe. Hit when the white ring meets the gold ring for a PERFECT strike: double damage and a chance of a bonus ore. Better pickaxes open tougher rock; meteorites sometimes crash into the quarry.

🌀 The Wildlands

Walk through the Rift Gate past the inn (or teleport) to the Rift Camp, inside Riftwatch: a walled frontier village with an inn, a market row, a training yard and the camp's forge. Ten gates lead to ten lands, one for every ten levels, each with three monsters, a boss and its own materials for the forge.

🌋 The Volcano: PVP guide

A volcano ringed by a lava sea, reached only by teleport (250 shards each way, from the LBTC Nexus or a waystone). The Teleport Base is safe: no attacks, no heat. Everywhere else is open-world PVP, run by the game server: it keeps everyone's Life, checks every hit and decides every death.

The base and its teleporter

You arrive in the Cinder Citadel, a walled fortress on the south rim. Its teleporter goes everywhere: home to the LBTC Nexus, any waystone or Frontier teleporter you've discovered, the Rift Camp or any Wildlands land your Hunting level allows (250 shards, and your bag is extracted safely), or across the Volcano to the Gladiator Arena, the Black Market and the three regions (50 shards, you stay in PVP).

Heat

Outside the base the heat burns every 3 seconds and stops your natural healing. Without potions a full Life bar lasts:

Protection: Volcanic armor (22–34% Heat Resistance a piece), Cooling Draughts (5 min) and Frost Elixirs (20 min) from Brann, or ride the Magma Strider. Lava highways: with 60% Heat Resistance (or on the Strider) the lava rivers carry you at double speed.

Regions

Dying and looting

• Die on the Volcano (to a player, the heat, lava or a monster) and everything in your bag except NFTs and starter tools drops in a 🩸 Blood Bag where you fell. It stays 5 minutes: you or anyone else can take it.
• Opening a Blood Bag takes 5 seconds; any hit interrupts it.
• Extraction Rule: loot is only safe once it's in the PVP Vault (Varga, any item) or you teleport home from the base. Logging out in a fight drops your bag.
• Insurance (Marisol): up to 3 items come back 24 h after you die. Bounties (Captain Rhee): +2,000 shards on a killer's head per kill.
• Black Market (The Fence, west of the base, no safe zone): 150% for gear taken from players; trading flags you for 2 minutes.

Monsters, world bosses and eruptions

• Each region has 45 monsters, 5 elites (👥 Shared Loot) and a world boss. Loot is split by damage (2% minimum).
• A world boss shows a red beacon, slams the ground (get out of the red circle) and enrages after 15 minutes. Its chest gives the top 3 a bonus roll and a 0.01% chance of a 🐉 Baby Volcano Drake.
• Every few hours the volcano erupts for 15 minutes: four times the heat in the Caldera and Eruption Veins with the rarest ore.
• Territories: the guild that hits a region's boss hardest holds it for 24 h, with +5% gathering for its members.
• Team pings: Tab (📍 on phones) marks an enemy, a monster or ore for your team.

1v1 and 3v3 in their own instance, with nothing to lose. Win Gladiator Points (1v1: +10 win / +3 loss · 3v3: +14 win / +4 loss) for 6 armor skins and 4 mount skins.

⚖️ Economy, the Mall & the Player Market

• Mira buys everything; prices drop when the same item floods the market and recover over time. Guild Contracts pay far more.
• The Trade Hall (the Mall): Ollie runs the Player Market, where players sell to players for shards (5% fee, paid only on a sale). The Grand Auction Board shows the 5 most expensive listings and the rarest NFTs found lately.
• Every listing has a 7-day price history graph, so you know what an item really sells for.
• NFTs and Ascended gear trade on the Satoshi Exchange for LBTC (Ada).

💠 NFTs, backpacks, pets & the Codex

• Rare finds are limited, numbered NFTs (#1/100, #2/100…) minted free to your LBTC wallet.
• NFT backpacks: attach a School Bag to your bag (+20) or a storage backpack to the Storage Vault (+50 to +200). Storage can't be bought.
• Pets: rolled companions from Uncommon to Genesis, bred at Willa's.

⛓️ Shards, the arcade & the LBTC chain

• One shard balance: with your wallet linked, your Farm shards are your latebitcoiners.com and LBTC Arcade shards.
• Monthly Arcade Leaderboard: on the 1st of every month the top 3 arcade players of the month before win rare shards plus a cape and a title to wear in LBTC Farm. Playing any arcade game gives Arcade Rush: +5% XP in the Farm for 24 hours.
• Staking: stake shards for LBTC from the Reserve Fund. Mentors: bring friends and both of you are rewarded.
• Nobody from LBTC Farm will ever ask for your seed phrase or private key.
